The Frankford Middle School project includes a 640 square foot freezer and cooler addition as well as renovations to the existing Kitchen, Restrooms, Consumer Science Classroom, and Intramural Gymnasium. Additional scope of work includes replacing the domestic water heaters, sprinkler system valves, roof top units above the existing gymnasium, cooling tower chillers, digital marquee, and HVAC controls. The project will provide more ease of access and space in the kitchen areas as well as needed upgrades throughout the school to improve campus functionality.

This targeted CMAR project delivered a complete, high-performance renovation of an existing institutional kitchen alongside campus-wide facility upgrades. The heavy civil and MEP scope involved demolishing the kitchen down to the dirt to install new underground plumbing, a fresh concrete slab, tile finishes, and modern walls and ceilings. Gliden integrated all-new commercial culinary equipment, specialized mechanical systems, and a new building addition for a dedicated walk-in cooler and freezer assembly. Additionally, the project upgraded the campus infrastructure with a new exterior grease interceptor, new main-building restroom partitions, and a comprehensive building-wide mechanical controls replacement.

Currently in-progress, this extensive project delivers a complete facility modernization alongside the construction of a premier, state-of-the-art STEM Academy. Gliden is managing a comprehensive, multi-trade scope that spans core infrastructure upgrades—including MEP, roofing, and security systems—as well as modern interior finishes, high-tech audiovisual equipment, custom casework, and new doors and hardware. To minimize operational downtime for the district, our project team is maintaining an incredibly efficient schedule, successfully executing over $1 million of work per week. Once complete, this project will provide students and staff with a fully modernized, future-focused educational facility.

Gliden partnered with the district to execute a comprehensive, high-security infrastructure program designed to enhance student and staff safety across all campuses. Gliden seamlessly coordinated site activities with on-site leadership across more than 67 active campuses. Through this meticulous, localized coordination, we successfully delivered the critical upgrades ahead of schedule and without interruption to the campus learning environments.

This combined summer project highlights Gliden’s capability to deliver diverse capital improvements concurrently across multiple locations. The scope balanced intricate interior systems with exterior site updates, beginning with significant upgrades to the Lewisville High School Performing Arts Center and the structural secure-closure of its sound engineering booth. Running parallel to the fine arts upgrade, our team transformed the exterior of the Student Success Center by delivering an expanded new parking lot, a robust overhead shade structure, and targeted site enhancements. Both fast-track projects achieved substantial completion within the summer break, providing the district with enhanced operational and educational spaces.

Gliden partnered with Plano ISD to deliver a sweeping, multi-phase safety and security infrastructure program spanning 43 separate campuses. Executed across two comprehensive phases, this high-volume initiative focused on structural hardening and controlled access. Phase 1 delivered the installation of 248 partition walls and specialized security door units across 43 campuses—a feat fully accomplished during the active school year to ensure immediate protection. Building on that momentum, Phase 2 expanded the program by delivering over 700 new secure partitions and doors district-wide. Through seamless coordination with district leadership and individual school administrators, Gliden completed this massive rollout safely, efficiently, and with zero disruption to the daily learning environment.

Completed under a CMAR delivery method, this multi-campus improvement package focused on large-scale interior upgrades across 8 campuses. Gliden managed the simultaneous rollout of high-durability campus-wide flooring installations and extensive custom casework replacements. Understanding the logistical sensitivity of working within established classrooms and administrative spaces, our team executed a meticulous asset-protection plan, cleanly isolating construction zones to safeguard all existing furniture and architecture. Through precise field coordination and a highly efficient schedule, Gliden delivered a seamless, refreshed environment across every campus right on time and with zero disruption to daily academic operations.
